          Join Penny’s, middle name is Love, for a fun-filled 45 minutes of Spinning while we play Name That Tune, laugh at some Marriage Jokes and Play some Couples Games for wacky prizes.             Sportsplex Stamford Group Exercise: Teacher Feature

            Teacher Feature February 2009

            Each Month Sportsplex with feature one of its professional Group Exercise Instructors. Individually each one brings a unique style and energy to the classes they teach.

            February’s Teacher Feature
            Penny Hoff, Sportsplex Group Exercise Director

            Penny Hoff is a 30 year fitness teacher and professional certified through AFAA in a variety of specialties.  Penny has been Director of Group Exercise at Sportsplex for over 13 years.

            She can be found teaching the following classes at Sportsplex Stamford
            Spinning, Interval Spin, and Yoga

            She has written a book of short stories- Fitness Rants For the Chronologically Enriched, about her experience as an aging athlete who has had two successful hip replacements, after which she was able to return to her passion for fitness and exercise. She has also authored an 8 week audio fitness program for couples called, ‘Does My Marriage Make Me Look Fat”. She is a regular on the ABC Weekend Morning News and can next be seen  next on Saturday, March 21st at 7:45am.

            Watch Penny as she shows the latest tips on how to break through a weight loss plateau.
